If you find a pet: Even if you just see a dog loose, and cant act, report to animal control nearest to where pet was found and have checked for micro chip. Faywtte Co animal control is 859 255-9033. Some people don't have Facebook and owners will look at animal control for their pets. If you can't hold please take to the shelter. Plus post to Lost and Found Pets of Lex, and post to Pawboost, and next door. Scroll through Lost and Found Pets of Lex and Pawboost to see if pet reported missing. Please take to animal control, and remember, a loose cat might be a neighbor’s indoor/outdoor cat. Remember to ask for proof of ownership before handing over. The following is in no way directed at you personally, it is a standard comment i always include: For your own protection, if someone wants the pet or suggests you keep it, be aware of the laws concerning keeping/rehoming a found pet. It is considered theft.

I’m well aware dogs get out but really as much as I see every day!People, you have to be more careful because some people won’t stop or swerve. I know because I’ve seen it too many times.
