Thank you for caring for this sweetie! Have you taken her to a vet yet to have her scanned for a microchip? There’s always a chance that she has one. Also, since she appears to be a list pet, it might be worthwhile to show her photo to all vet clinics in the area. She could have been a patient at one of them. If so, a staff member might recognize her and be able to help you reach her family.
Another thing you might try it is checking area animal shelters and rescue organizations to find out if anybody has contacted them to see if anybody brought in a cat marching the description of this one. Leave your contact number so they can pass it on to anybody looking for a cat like this one.
If somebody does come forward to claim her, make sure they can prove ownership. Ask them to describe any unique markings, behavioral quirks, play or eating habits—anything special to this cat. You want to make sure she goes back to her real family. And if you are unable to find her owners despite all your best efforts and cannot keep her yourself, please surrender her to a no kill shelter so that she can be adopted by a new family. Good luck! She’s darling—reminds me of my own “paint splatter” marked tuxedo!
