Description

Ran her DNA test mostly lab and Golden Retriever with a mix of other breeds. Light cream and yellow/tan with small growths on eyelids. She has approximately 12-13 years old. She was found at a loves gas station around the end of January at the time she was found she was about 20 pounds lighter. The women who found her, took her to the vet to check for a microchip and treated her for worms. There was no microchip. She has become part of our family, but we wanted to see if she had a family looking for her. She definitely has the personality of a more senior dog.

Message from Finder

We have been calling this sweet girl Dolly. Her DNA says she has approximately 12 1/2 years old that could be off by as much as 18 months. A couple of ladies found her as they were driving back from a Hope dog deployment as their dogs are their dogs. I live in Lees Summit Missouri, but we met the ladies halfway in Nashville, Tennessee as they have multiple dogs already. She is spayed. She definitely acts like an older dog. I can’t decide if she has hearing issues or just selective hearing. She is so well behaved. She knows how to sit and sometimes shakes and loves the sofa. She loves to just sit by whoever will give her pets and love. She was a little nervous of all the new people at first, but then comes around. She is also afraid of the neighbors dogs, but is getting more brave as she is becoming more comfortable with her surroundings.

Maura Auer Rios So someone else found the dog and you met them in TN and took her home to Missouri? Do you have any further information on where she was found? This can at least give a closer location area to search for the owners. Some cities have specific lost dog pages but a general location would help narrowing down a general area to post her on them. If this was my elderly dog who had gone missing, I would be frantic to find her after 6 weeks. I have no idea what a Hope dog deployment is...

There are almost 25 Love truckstops in AL. Is there any further information what city or highway she was found near to have a better chance of her owners being able to be located or in hearing about her? And are you saying she is now in Missouri? Has a vet checked her for a microchip?
