Message from Owner

Munias (moony-us) Marshmallow Kiba was a stray brought in a year ago. He chose living inside one day when it was rainy and chilly and has been a daily companion. Talkative, playful, prone to getting ear infections and good about his medicine he has been an extremely affectionate and unexpected companion. Due to some household conflicts of opinion he has yet to be fixed, and I pray that is why he has disappeared even when I know this is too long. Munias had been out of the hse on the fifteenth and came back covered in motor oil. He was immediately bathed and dried (this was not a traumatic event for him, he enjoys water and was mildly annoyed). He showed no skittishness, he had regular movement and appetite and appeared healthy but we intended to monitor to ensure he had not licked any of it off himself. The next day, the sixteenth, he was let out to use the bathroom and has been gone since. He has never left for more than two and a half days, even before he came inside. We have spoken to neighbors, sent out alerts to vets and shelters both by way of his chip implant and by calling, we have walked the surrounding woods and roads calling for him. No one has seen him and our dog has not alerted to his presence during the searches. I hope against the odds that he is safe and healthy. If anyone finds a white cat with a stubborn black stain on the bottom of his tail and rounded ears and wants you to wash his face every time you brush your teeth...please bring him .

Thank you for the advice! we are following all of that. While he is an indoor plus out door cat (against my personal beliefs but I do not full run this household) there is always someone awake and around. We have continued to put out food, check and call, walk along our roads to check, and gone looking in the places we have seen him before and the times we know he is most active. This is out of his ordinary but we have not given up.
