Check for microchip. Also see if flyers are posted in the area he/she was found. Search on Pawboost and LostmyKitty to try to find the owner, and post on those sites also that you found this companion animal. Pawboost has a high rate of success in reuniting companion animal family members. No need to bring found animals to the city shelter, which euthanizes, due to overpopulation and abandonment crisis. It is very dangerous offering an animal on the Worldwide web.
