I am so sorry your dog is missing.
***Immediately Set out Smelly Food (dry won't work, **Grilling is the Best**), the dog's toys and blankets, and your DIRTY laundry or pillowcase. Also, take some bbq sauce, or something smelly and drizzle it in a spoke pattern leading to the door you go in after walking him. Often they are by those items in the morning if you keep your home area quiet.***
Make the calls to sheriff and local humane society.
If microchipped, call the company and report her lost and check your contact information.
Sign by the road "Lost Dog"--finders drive around looking for owners
