Try going out at night when it’s quiet take a torch this will help reflect on there eyes if they are hiding, also take some en or dry biscuits shake and call, check with your neighbours ask them to check there yards, check local streets as may be be hiding, put up signs, they may be locked in a garage or shed, If not deed Check within a 7km radius, check drains as well. Contact local vets, Go in and physically check Pounds and shelters, RSPCA, don’t rely on a photo as they are deceiving. ❗️MOST IMPORTANT❗️make sure microchip details are up to date. If they have a blanket, hang on clothes line this will blow there scent around, and help them find there way home.

Can you please put the dirty litter tray outside and put a piece of your worn clothing and/or worn shoes on the clothesline or undercover. Check your property thoroughly as he/she may be frightened and hiding. When they are hiding they can be extremely quiet. Also go out when it’s dark and quiet the best time to head outside and call her/him is between 3-4am. with hot bbq chicken.. Listen for a familiar meow as may be hiding, stuck or locked on your property, in a garage or shed. Also door knock and ask to check neighbor’s yards, sheds, garages, bushes etc. yourself . Some cats have recently been found locked in neighbours sheds and garages. One had been up a tree for 3 days.. Check all local vets, shelters, Check found posts on Facebook etc and put up posters in shopping centres and on local community boards.

🐾🐾 There is a technique called the 3am walk that has helped a lot of people reunite with their pets. Displaced or scared cats will often remain in hiding and completely silent for most of the day and night. Even if it is close by and can hear you, it is unlikely your cat will respond. Because of this, the best time to head outside and call her/him is between 3-4am. Most recently, a good number of people have found their cats just from doing a 3am walk and call. Your cat is most likely to respond and leave its hiding spot around this small window of quiet time. It only takes a couple of fence jumps to land streets away, so do your best to cover as many streets as you can. Hopefully your cat is only a house or two away from where it escaped. It’s also a good idea to ask neighbours if you can check their yards, sheds, garages and roof spaces. Also place your kitty’s litter tray and some of your clothing at the front door. Roast chicken, kitty’s love it . Also tap a can calling kitty’s name or shaking biscuits calling his/her name or what you usually say at din din time. Try that out on your walk and take a torch with you 🙏🙏🙏🐱
