➡️VOLUNTEER NJ DOG TRAPPERS BELOW⬅️
(NOTE: there must be a current sighting before any trapper can set out necessary equipment).
*1st Notify animal control, non emergency police & shelters
*Notify Microchip company; make sure contact info is UTD
*Also share to your local township/county Facebook pages & engage your community. FLIERS generate sightings. Once there’s a sighting, a trapper would set up a feeding station & humane trap. Contact a trapper, so they’ll be ready at the last sighting. *If there are no recent sighting, hang & distribute more fliers. Fliers generate sightings and awareness.
*On Facebook: Search Buddha Dog Rescue & Rec. page and read the section “LOST PET Things To Do”. She has a great flier template & guidance.
*When posting missing pet pages, be VERY careful of scams. Do not send $ or codes to anyone. Often, scammers will say “Go to Instagram” <— but don’t! Most lost pets are networked in Facebook & Nextdoor app. Many reputable trappers & trackers are volunteers.
