Found this little guy sitting in a car park meowing. He is very friendly and seems like he has come from a very loving home and is lost.

Taking him to the vet tomorrow to see if he is chipped already have a carrier for him 🙂. No tattoo in ear, but he definitely is very comfortable around humans and from what I can tell has been treated very well.

If you take it to the vet, they will scan the microchip for free and contact the owners if it’s microchipped. You can maybe even ask the vet if they have a carrier you can borrow yo bring it to them

Thank you for keeping safe Check with neighbours and surrounding Call local vets and pounds to see if lost report filed. Try chip scan at local vets also if you are able to safely contain. Call council rangers if you're unable to go to vets. Too many scammers trolling these page's for sinister reasons.

Thank you for caring for this fur baby. As you know not everyone is on Facebook or on this site , especially some elderly and non-English speaking folk ,would you be able to put some pictures up around your area such as the local shops or community notice board with a brief description of where the cat can be found and collected . As I am sure you would have door knocked your neighbours prior taking the cat to the Vet's,it just gives the person a chance to find and know what has happened to their Fur baby. Check its inner ear for a tattoo, if it has one then it is desexed, however it has been pointed out to me that this isn't always the case (tattoo not always present). Then hopefully, it has a microchip. The Vet will scan for you but just remember if there is no microchip they usually keep the cat and send it to the pound. As of the 1st Oct 2022 ,Vets( participating ones only) can scan pets microchips and contact the owners direct without sending them to the pound. You could try and put (if able and cat is friendly ,and only if appropriate) a paper collar on the cat with your details and concerns.
