You can keep the dog at your house for the hold time, but you need to let Hernando County Sheriff's Office - Animal Services know.

Contact Ziggys Legacy too,they maybe able to do the hold to see if his owner will be found. If his owner isn't found she will put him up for adoption. She loves all her rescue animals, he'll get lots of love there.

You need to turn this dog over to animal control if you cannot hold until owner is found. It is illegal to rehome a dog that is not yours. Do the right thing.
