FOUND DOG – Please Share We found this sweet male dog wandering in the road near the gas station at kingsland and Igloo road last night. He is white and light brown and was extremely dirty with severe matting throughout his coat. He was very friendly and came right up to us. Then proceeded to lay down in the middle of the road until we picked him up. We brought him home, gave him a bath, and started carefully removing as much of the matting as possible. It was so heavy around his face he could barely see and his ears won't lay right because of it. After cleaning him up, we discovered he is very underweight and appears to have some issues with his back legs. They occasionally buckle outward when he walks, although he is still able to get around. We’re posting here in case he belongs to someone, but based on his condition, we have concerns that he may have been abandoned or has been on his own for quite some time. If no owner is found, we plan to take him to CAPS so he can receive the medical attention and care he needs. Please contact me if you recognize him or know where he belongs.
