Try the open door trick. Secure other pets and leave the door where he escaped open just a bit, since he can slip back in quietly on his own, especially in the early morning hours. This does often work well. Have a trail of food leading inside. But get that humane trap asap. Best way to get them back fast. You can get one from a rescue or local shelter. Or most hardware stores have them. You can order on Amazon too. Please carefully monitor the trap so other people’s pets or wildlife are not left to stress in it for a long time. Leave out food and water when not trapping so he doesn’t go in search of it. Water all the time no matter what. Get a ring camera and ask neighbors to check theirs. Post flyers and ask everyone to check all sheds, garages, crawl spaces and under decks. 🙏❤️

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.
