Description

He’s very sweet and vocal, but would be skittish if approached. He is a light grey tabby bengal mix with stripes and rings on his tail and also spots on his stomach. He has big round Green eyes, and a collar that is red and black plaid with a bow and bells. He is micro chipped but the chip has not been registered yet. And he is 6 1/2 years old.

Message from Owner

My children and I are heartbroken and wish our sweet Apollo could find his way already. I’ve been searching relentlessly since day, one with flyers posting on the Internet and screaming his name while we drive around day night. As I’m temporarily, disabled currently, there’s only so much I can do on foot. I’ve noticed that my flyers have been taken down, which seems a little malicious as if someone has taken them down purposely. There has been worried that there is a cat napper at my apmts here at the equestrian off Linda Vista as well so we have been overfilled with worry and just hope that he is safe wherever he is.

And Lara sterosky Apollo has always been an inside pet. We were forced to move to a different apartment that did not have a safely enclosed patio so the first month of me living here was extremely rough in trying to rush to install a screened patio, which is now done. And thus Apollo slipping through the door and running out into a neighborhood, he has not been used to. The patio is now enclosed and safe as are my other two cats that are still safe at home. Apollo is still missing and we are just hoping that he has been sheltered by someone kind enough to take care of him until I can find him. Obviously, we have thought about the worst case scenario as you are describing with the coyotes and what not. But as being a PAWSITIVE pet parent, I would rather not hear any of that negativity on my post and neither do my children want to read about that as well. Thank you. Be blessed.

Set out humane trap that you can get from a shelter which usually just requires a refundable deposit

MaryLou Tobin bc you said the cat should be indoor only. I was more than agreeing and stated more so maybe the owner sees it and gets some ideas for when he comes home or she gets another.

Lara Sterosky i don’t know why you commented on my reply but i understand all you say completely, i have indoor cats and my dogs are always on a leash except out in my walled yard with me.

MaryLou Tobin all small animals should be indoor only or go out on a leash. That area is very open desert. I worry Apollo may have been a meal for coyote. It’s mating season for coyote too right now so they are more aggressive. An unregistered microchip does this baby no good. Yes they will hold him longer at the shelter before available for adoption but no bueno. 💔😭

Is your cat a big cat or a small cat because when I was at the shelter on Roger I saw a little gray cat with green eyes very skittish.
