Wouldn’t let me pet him but appeared to be trying to find food, stopping at the neighbor’s door briefly before crossing the street.

* Thank you for helping this beautiful little soul! You can get the baby checked for a microchip for free at most vet clinics or the humane society. Please put in a safe spare room to keep away from all the dangers outside, such as bad weather, coyotes, owls, eagles, raccoons, dogs, poisons, disease, traps, cars, and bad humans! Please don't give to just anyone because there are cruel people out there that get pets for horrible reasons like dogfighting bait and other sickening things! Make sure that anyone who tries to claim the cat has absolute proof of records or receipts, photos, videos, and can identify specific markings, personality, voice, etc!* Thank you for helping this beautiful little soul! This may be a long shot.. but this kitty looks to either have been outside for sometime or possibly from a fire situation. There was a house fire overnight several blocks south of your sighting... just a thought. Overnight, the Minneapolis Fire Department had reports of a fire in a three-story garden-style apartment building at 629 NE 5th Street at 0301 hours. Responding were E11-2-1, L9-4-7, MC, Sa;l , Ch 5-1 and the Deputy. Reporting parties saw smoke coming out third floor windows on a charlie side room.
