Hey everyone, my cat Loki got out yesterday around 9am at Trinity Lakes apmts and I’m really worried He’s an indoor cat and not used to being outside, so he’s likely scared and hiding nearby. Please check under cars, bushes, stairwells, and quiet hiding spots around your building. If you see him, please don’t chase him — he may run. Just message me or call/text

Most indoor kitties stick very close to home when they escape. You can rent humane traps and bait them and set them around your property. Also, you can go out at night with a bright flashlight and slowly pan over your yard, your neighbor’s yard, up in trees, on roof tops, under bushes and any structures, etc. You will be looking for your kitty’s eyes reflecting back at you. Be sure to post to Nextdoor.com and pawboost.com, hang signs up in the area kitty was last seen. Check your local shelters daily if possible. Some people do not suggest using the used litter as an attractant. You can read these articles and decide what you think is best.
