Message from Finder

This cat has been in my yard for a few months. This is the first time I’ve been able to get a picture. It runs as soon as it sees me. I have been putting food out daily for it.

He Looks an awful lot like my daughter's cat, Leonard. He should be chipped. If you're able to set a live trap (if you need one, I have one that you can borrow if you can meet me in Cambridge), the tuna would work. We accidentally trapped Leonard one time when trying to trap raccoons...

*** Thank you for helping this beautiful little soul! Please try to set a live trap with a bowl of tuna or wet cat food. Cats can smell tuna from a great distance away! You can get the baby checked for a microchip for free at most vet clinics or the humane society. Please put in a safe spare room to keep away from all the dangers outside, such as bad weather, coyotes, owls, eagles, raccoons, dogs, poisons, disease, traps, cars, and bad humans! Please don't give to just anyone because there are cruel people out there that get pets for horrible reasons like dogfighting bait and other sickening things! Make sure that anyone who tries to claim the cat has absolute proof of ownership such as photos and veterinarian records or receipts, and can identify specific markings, personality, voice, etc! Most healthy adult cats tolerate temperatures down to about 45-50°F (7-10°C), but prolonged exposure below 45°F (7°C) becomes risky, and freezing temperatures (32°F/0°C and below) pose serious risks like frostbite and hypothermia for any cat, especially kittens, seniors, or sick pets, requiring insulated shelter, unfrozen water, and limited outdoor time to stay safe.

Any vet will scan at no charge for a chip. Search and cross-post on Nextdoor, Pawboost, Petco, Pet FBI, etc. Post to Nextdoor many aren't on FB. Thanks for helping kitty.
