Please do what Bonita Snow is saying. Please post on nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch and all lost pet sites. Not everyone is on Facebook. You can take this baby to any Petsmart and Banfield in the back will check for free for a microchip. Please do this today. If you would be kind enough post flyers all over that you found this dog I pray the owners find this baby as soon as possible.

Bonita Snow - they have it posted there so I’m sure they’re simply trying to post all over to cover everywhere. 😉

This post needs to be on HB Pawboost, not Irvine. Dog owner will be looking for their dog on HB Pawboost!🙏🏼💔🐾😭 Thank you for helping this fur baby! Here are some guidance steps of additional things to do IF YOU FIND A DOG: • Please contact OC animal shelter in Tustin to file a found report or have them come pick up the dog (THIS IS A MUST). That’s the first place people look for their missing pets and not everyone is on social media. • Take dog to any vet office to scan for a microchip, it’s free. • Post the dog on Nextdoor, Ring and Huntington Beach Lost and Found Pets Community Group on Facebook. • Hang “Found” signs within the neighborhood, as not everyone is on social media. • Walk the dog around the neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes him/her and if he/she leads you to its home.

Thank you for being so kind to help keep this found fur baby safe. Please ensure he/she doesn’t escape from you and if possible, secure inside. Here’s some guidance steps of additional things to do: 🐶 IF YOU FIND A LOST DOG 🐶 Please take these steps to help reunite them with their family: 1. Post Online: Share on local lost & found pet pages and apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring (Neighbors app) • Local Facebook groups 2. Scan for a Microchip: Take the dog to a vet or animal shelter to scan for a chip. Many rescuers also carry scanners - ask around! 3. Put Up “FOUND DOG” Signs: Hang posters in the neighborhood - NOT everyone uses social media. 4. File a Found Report with Your Local Shelter. This is essential and often legally required. 5. Foster if You Can: If safe and possible, keep the dog in your care until the owner is found. Be sure to request proof of ownership (photos, vet records, etc.).
