Also, check your property thoroughly. Older pups can get into a place they can't get out of on their own or tangled in bushes. I know of a dog who had gotten trapped under the house for over a month & couldn't get turned around. Her family was out all over town l@@king for her for weeks. A plumber found her, clinging to life. ---->>> Leave no stone unturned. Print copies of your PB flyer & post on stake & pound it into the ground at nearby intersections where he went missing. Include the TEXT ONLY phone number I mentioned in my comment, below, in LARGE numbers.

OWNER: Consider providing a TEXT ONLY phone number w/proof of possession or proof of sight by photo or description (details only you & Finder would know). E-mails, FB messages, & phone calls to facilities are not reliable. Go IN PERON to nearby shelters & Rescues to verify your pup is or is not there. Keep proof of ownership & reclaim $$$ w/you at all times. Often, Rescues 'pull' from Shelters, after the stray-hold period, to add to their 'inventory.' It will cost more $$$ to reclaim from a Rescue than from the shelter.
