Please let me know if you see my dog anywhere. He escaped because fireworks were going off and got scared.

Suzan Reynolds I appreciate all the tips. We’ll definitely try the smell station. We have put up flyers and spoke to the neighbors. One neighbor did mention seeing him walk but unfortunately didn’t stop him. He always pulled us back home when he was done with walking, so we feel like he would have returned if he was near by. We’re more inclined to think someone got him. But again he has a tag with all our info and is chipped, so we’re hoping that if someone found him they do the right thing and contact us.

Les Cook thank you for helping us share his information! We did put up posters in a big area around our home, passed out flyers to different businesses and some homeless people we encountered and walked the shelter today. We will be going back tomorrow. Thank you for all the tips

Jose-Manuel Zaragoza thank you for your message earlier. We went to check it out and unfortunately is not him. We did try to get that other pup but he ran away from us. We’ll be calling animal control in the AM

General Information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member/owner that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Post lost signs all around area lost from & keep checking the shelter daily in person, the shelters are not keeping them long before euthanizing them due to space. If you are able & really want him or her back, offer a reward that will sometimes convince the person that has them who plans on keeping them to do the right thing. I hope you get her back. Shared in hopes he or she is seen & returned.
