Go outside every evening and early morning shaking cat treats, clanging food bowls calling for your kitty. At night use a flashlight( this will reflect their eyes if hiding) to check shrubbery, hedges, lower tree limbs, and around anything your cat could hide under. Be sure to have your neighbors check their garages, sheds, under car hoods, etc.

Donna Maiden Bluford it is strongly recommended to not put a litterbox outside as that will attract dominate cats and possibly predators which will keep your cat away and could put it in danger. Instead put a towel with your scent on it outside which is much safer.
