Muffin's Owner Says

❤️ Thank you so much to everyone who shared, kept an eye out, and supported us. Your kindness truly means the world to our family. As a small way of giving back, if anyone ever needs flyers printed for a missing pet, I’d be happy to print copies for free. I know how stressful and heartbreaking it is, and I hope this can help another family the way others helped us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need them. 🐾

Please also do a post on Lost and Found Pets Toronto and file a lost report with Toronto Animal Services (and keep checking their listings). Also post on Neighbourhood and park groups and get signs up. If microchipped, make sure it’s registered and the microchip company has your updated info.

Shared. If you have not already done all these things do them ASAP. If you have, do them again and go further in your search Advise Toronto Animal Services and check their website for found dogs. Also notify local vet offices, dog rescues, shelters (e.g. SPCA) and the microchip company if she's chipped. Post on Toronto and Ontario lost pet site and on lost pets on FB. Dogs will usually try to find their way home but will follow routes through their favourite parks and walks. See Pawboost for search and find suggestions and sample posters. Post notices between where she was last seen and the door she left. Post notices in local store windows and on public notice boards as well as notice boards in churches, schools and community centres. Watch dogs for sale ads on Kijiji and similar sites and notify police if you think she may have been stolen. Beware of scammers and dog thieves who will tell you they found your dog, Be very sure of ID for the dog before/if you contact them and don't offer $$.
