I rescued this dog on January 11 and have been trying to find his owners, but I haven’t had any luck. I also contacted the Humane Society, but they haven’t been able to take him in due to limited availability—there are no upcoming appointments, and the process requires scheduling, with wait times of up to three months. Unfortunately, we can’t continue to provide the level of care a pet needs, as my wife will be starting work very soon, and we don’t want to be selfish with him. If anyone is interested and able to offer him a , it would be something truly wonderful. Based on the vet visits we’ve taken him to for vaccinations and to keep him in good health, we’ve been told he is a Heeler, he is around 3 to 4 years and between 40 to 44 lbs. He is up to date on his vaccines and has been dewormed. He is a very gentle and friendly dog with everyone, adults and children, he is obedient, and somewhat crate-trained. He follows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “let’s go.” It hurts us a lot to have to find him another because we’ve grown very attached to him, especially my children, but unfortunately, due to work and time constraints, we can’t care for him the way he deserves. If anyone has the opportunity to give him a , it would be a great help to us and a blessing for him. Thank you very much.
