Kathy Kennedy the driver is 3rd party in his own vehicle. I do agree pepper spray is the best choice, but if you're defending yourself you should be able to use what is necessary. However we really don't know how the situation played out. It could have been unnecessary but we don't know..the only thing we do know is the dog was not secured and unfortunately that is no one's fault but the owners

Jennifer Ann how can we make this comment when you weren't there? The only thing confirmed is that the dog was not secured and the driver shot at it. We don't know much else. The focus should be on finding the dog, and hopefully securing the dog. The rate of dog bites for delivery drivers is astronomically high. We simply don't know the exact scenario

Tiffany Nicole where did you hear that? The owner was on tv news last night and said it was in the house. Unless someone opened the door and let them out.

Dawn ColbertIt doesn't matter what DTE does. They allow their employees to bit while on the clock. Spark doesn't. Good for companies protecting employees

Jackie Mercierit wasn't in the house with the door closed, it was outside and charged at the delivery driver. No one has to let a dog bite them while working. The owners are at fault for this
