My Aunt was passing through the area on route 41 or 48 (she can't remember), near Hernando Florida and pulled over to get something from the back seat. Baby must have jumped out when my aunt got out and she didn't realize it until she was well down the road. My aunt is devastated, she's in her seventies and this dog is her everything. She went back to an area she thinks is where she stopped and searched until 2 am with no luck. She has checked the shelter in the area and they didn't have her. Please be looking for her while you're out, there's still hope.
