So happy your dog is back home safe with you. Please figure out how he got out to prevent it from happening again. A collar w tag is also his voice in situations such as this. 🐾🐶

General Information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member/owner that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.

It’s critical that you call your shelter tomorrow and let them know you lost your dog. Someone may drop it off there. Fax a flyer of your dog over there and keep checking with that shelter over and over. In addition, not everyone is on Facebook so please post on all lost pet sites and nextdoor.com immediately. Also post flyers everywhere hundreds of flyers all over on all Lamposts and stop signs. If you can check peoples ring cameras it might be helpful Drive around everywhere and look for your dog. Get everyone you know to look for your dog. I pray you get your baby back as soon as possible. Leave an article of your clothing out front dogs can smell from a ways away. Keep checking Pawboost every day to see if someone has your dog and has posted it.
