Hopefully he’s neutered and not just catting around. Normally inside cats don’t venture far when they find themselves outside. Put his litter box outside. Go out with a flashlight calling his name and checking bushes, trees, under cars at night and early morning hours. Hang a piece of family bedding or clothing outside so that the breeze/wind can carry the scent and hopefully lead him home. Check your home, neighbors, businesses for crawlspaces, sheds, garages in case he’s hiding, sought a warm dry place, or trapped and cannot get out. Check Animal Control daily in person in case someone turned him in. Take them a pic to post. Post fliers and on Next Door App. Good luck.

I am in Durham and do lost pet recovery. Here are my recovery graphics for indoor kitties. It's 6 days now she may or may not come out of hiding. I always leave a food at home and get permission for a cam and on where last sighting was. Happy to answer questions. Happy to design a recovery protocol for your kitty as well. PM for questions.

I think I saw her last Wednesday on corner of 3600 Duke Homestead and Ferris Rd. She went into the yard of 3600. Place a piece of your worn clothing outside and her favorite treats. Cats can smell over 2 miles. It brought my baby home within 4 hours of me doing this.
