Purple Flea collar on her and I just updated her chip info.I see the comments but I can't respond as I can't fit Facebook on my phone right now I am working on it... but I listen to all the advice and check in with every possible siting. Those cats have not been midnight unfortunately. She is still missing. I've had her for many years she's grown up with my children I desperately miss her. I am offering a small reward of $100 which I always bring with me when I think someone has midnight but they've always turned out no to be her.

Borrow live animal trap from humane society or buy one. Put tuna in. Cover with towel leaving front & back open. Can put chain & lock on it. Or contact local feral cat rescue for someone who knows how to capture frightened cats. Please leave food & water out. Look for cat during late evening early morning.

Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE! LOOK UP! Cats are great climbers and looking for them on the ground only is limiting your search. Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. This means that your average male cat is likely to stay within 1500 feet of home, while your average female tends not to go much farther than 75 yards from your door. Be careful of the lost pet finders. Most of them are playing on your emotions and wanting cash up front.! https://www.pawboost.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=report_pet_alert_link_lost Sacramento SPCA | (916) 383-7387 Front Street Shelter | 311 or (916) 808-7387 Bradshaw Animal Shelter | 311 or (916) 368-7387 Elk Grove Animal Services | (916) 691-2489 or (916) 714-5115

Create wallet size flyers for your neighbors. Report to chip company. Confirm the contact info. File online lost reports with shelters. Put something outside with the kitty's scent on it and call the cat's name at night when quiet and shake food container. Keep checking shelters online and in person. Check in trees.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕
