Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. Here are some tips that helped me find my little guy when he got out. My kitty got out in the middle of winter for 11 days. I put flyers out everywhere and some very nice friends of a friend of mine saw my flyers and said he was living under their outside stairs. Flyers work. Also I was told to go out at night when it's quiet and call your kitty calmly. They are scared when outside even if it's your voice they hear so shouting or calling loudly isn't recommended. Also using a flashlight while looking in garages and bushes helps. Cats eyes glow when a light beams on them. Shaking treat bags can help too. Don't do a litterbox that can attract dangerous animals that could hurt Kitty. You can do a piece of dirty laundry of yours that they can be attached too. One more thing also is to get a humane trap from a local shelter and put the smelliest food inside. Believe it or not KFC chicken has helped attract cats more than any food lol. Also cameras can help also to see if your baby comes around when you're not home. I wish you the best of luck and hope. 💜💜💜💜🍀

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

Scrumpy is most likely trapped/stuck somewhere (or could be injured and hiding). Do frequent physical searches (along with asking neighbors to do so too) of garages, sheds, crawlspaces, brambles he could be entangled in, under low decks & cars & woodpiles, & look high up in trees. Use a strong flashlight for dark spaces & at night to look for him. & his eye reflection. Post sturdy photo flyers at mailbox groupings around your neighborhood (and surrounding neighborhoods in case he’s been chased out of his normal territory and can’t get home). Don’t assume he’s been taken by a predator & therefore stop actively looking for him, but when you do find him, PLEASE keep him safely INDOORS -only going forward . There are far too many outdoor dangers to let one’s beloved cats roam: coyotes, bobcats, & birds of prey are abundant everywhere & easily take cats both day & night, cars can injure or cats, cats can die from eating mice poisoned by exterminator bait traps, they can be found by someone & kept, cruel people can hurt them, & get trapped somewhere & never found . If microchipped, ensure chip is registered in your name, your contact info is up to date, & you’ve notified chip registration company he’s missing. Have you filed an online Lost Cat reported with King County Animal Shelter (RASKC) & PAWS & looked through their Found cat postings? If found, that’s where he’d be reported to or taken to.

Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, basements, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas
