Description

Sasha is a DSH with a tortoise s coat (black with orange patches) she was last seen near the north side of Chester Park, right along W College St. She’s very scared of people but is most like hiding under porches, in bushes, or under cars. Please keep an eye out and help us bring her safely!!

Message from Owner

Sasha is a smaller than average size. She is afraid of humans and is microchipped. She’s always loved the outdoors, albeit, a little too much in this case. But she is so cuddly and loves affection, my heart is missing a piece along with her

Please post to Missing Pets In The Northland if you haven't done so already. If you have a trail cam, put it out to see if your kitty is coming around at night. You may need to set a live trap n monitor it regularly. If your kitty is microchipped, make sure the contact information is current and the chip is registered with the chip provider. You can check the chip number at American Animal Hospital Association Microchip Registry Look-up. If it's registered, it should come up with who the provider is. Click the link, log in or create an account, enter your contact info, description, n pics. If it doesn't come up with a provider, it may not have been registered. You can register the microchip with a provider like HomeAgain, SmartTag, AKReunite for a one-time fee of $14 I believe, then it's free for life This is how I found out one of my kitty's microchip was not registered. They generally don't go far from home n will find a place to hide that they will feel safe in. Don't lose hope your kitty will be found. I pray your little one will be found soon, safe n sound. Keep us posted. 🐾😿😢💔🙏🏻🙏🏻

Julie Lancaster thanks for the tips!! We’ve set out crates and food and beds for her so hopefully she’s smart enough to trot back home. We walked the neighborhood and put up posters too! The flashlight is such a good idea, we’ll try that when it gets darker. We hope she comes back to us!!

Put out something that has her scent on it.Put up colorful flyers around your neighborhood.Walk around your neighborhood SOFTLY calling her name, LISTEN, see if you can get a meow back! That’s how my sister found her cat!! Thankfully, he meowed back to her from inside a neighbor’s garage!! You might want to check into borrowing a live trap too. If you’re looking at night, bring a flashlight and look for eye shine. Look up in trees, under decks and bushes, window wells, culverts, etc. Also, keep checking with your local police, shelters, and vets, and see if anyone has reported a similar found cat. Leave them your contact information! Hopefully, she will return home soon!
