Lyyti is Missing in Wilmington, NC

As of 7/1 6am update, no sight of her on the trail camera we put out. We had about 20 people on foot or by car on 6/30 looking for her from 10am-10pm and no one laid eyes on her from our group. There was a potential sighting on Edgerton by a neighbor but not confirmed it was truly her. A drone has been out searching as well. We have people out since 6am today now please if you see her and can get a photo or check your doorbell cameras please let us know. Lyyti is missing after being unexpectedly spooked when her leash became clipped to the AirTag attachment on her collar. The AirTag snapped and fell off, so she is no longer being tracked. She is microchipped Last seen: Botany Bay Place Riverlights Wilmington, NC PLEASE DO NOT CHASE LYYTI. Chasing may cause her to run farther away. If you see her, try to keep her in sight from a distance if it is safe to do so, and immediately call or text with her location.
