Brown dog, appears to have recently been nursing, different colored eyes, no collar

I cited this dog at around 6:55 a.m. at the entrance to New Floresta from Potomac. I tried to slowly approach, but the dog parked and ran further into the neighborhood. I am heading to my daughter's school, so I could not stay and pursue. I did alert non-emergency authorities in case they can help in any way, and shared with my neighborhood.
