Message from Owner

Please help us find Athena! She is a sweet tortoise shell cat and lives in our barn. She is fixed, chipped, and has a clipped ear. She is wary of strangers. Please get in touch with us if she is found. She is the cat on the right. Thank you!

🙏❤️Leave a door slightly open especially at night .... worked for our pet. Found them sleeping on the couch the next morning . Pets that are lost and scared most often will hide in underbrush tickets or shrubs close to home and feel safe to come out at night to find their way home

Also make sure your cat is really lost. Recently in a 2-week time five different people thought their cat was lost and all were later found in the house including one that was found in the cabinet 3 days later. That was hardly used. Make sure you look behind furniture under furniture, dresser, drawers, closets, etc. Your cat also might have been spooked and hiding from fireworks 😥 I hope to hear good news soon. Good luck!

A worn piece of clothing often works well on your porch. In addition to the piece of clothing I mentioned earlier in your garage. It would be good to post on neighbors ring app which covers a three plus mile radius of your location and alerts, people that have the app. Cats tend to stay close to home before they wander. It would be especially good to focus on a one to two block radius of your home especially at Dawn dusk in feeding time, shaking a bag of cat treats or cat food vigorously to help attract your cat's attention if it's nearby and bring a flashlight with you to help catch a glimpse of its eyes if it's near. While you're in this 1 to two block radias, make sure you also check trees shrubbery window wells and especially under decks and porches where cats are often found and ask your neighbors to check their shed and garage where cats are also often found. Make sure your microchip is up to date if your cat has one so you can be contacted if your cat is found. I hope your cat is safe and will soon be back home. Good luck!
