Call the local veterinarian offices… a lot of them do not know that you MUST call the microchip company. Otherwise it says not registered! Microchips are not beneficial if the person scanning does not contact the microchip company. The scan will only say that it has a microchip and give the registration company, which does not provide the owners information. The owner’s information is not provided to any person scanning. You MUST call the company and let them notify the owner.
