Hi! Found this cat in my tree. Her chip says she's Alexis, 2 year's old, and from Wetumpka. Have been unsuccessful in trying to contact owners by phone. If you know her owners or recognize her, please reach out.

Mildred Edge hi! I'm the person who found her. She was chipped. Took her to the nearest vet to check. They gave a number to call for the owner but I haven't been able to reach them yet. The voice mail sounds very AI. No response to a text I sent either. Am calling daily just in case. But I wonder if the owner changed their number or had their number deactivated (hearsay warning: I've heard of this happening when someone dies). I think the vet is disseminating the info to other institutions. I myself shared to my local area Facebook, Wetumpka Facebook, and a few databases just in case. Will keep an eye out for more online spaces to search/report.
