Please put worn clothing and dirty sheets outside with your scent on it and your dogs bedding/blankets with their scent on it so they can smell/find their way home. I’ve heard dogs can smell up to a couple of miles. If you have a gate, leave cracked so they can get in. Please post on For the Love of Louie, next door app, Pawboost and ring app. Please contact animal control and local shelters.

Sharon Patterson Thank you, I found her! ❤️ I put out food and her bed near the garage and was waiting until all the fireworks stopped. I had read this somewhere, so I was very low key when I spotted her, and on her own she trotted into the garage, stood on her back legs and cried and scratched the door for me to open it as I was following behind her.

Thank you everyone. After the fireworks stopped, I headed to the nearby park near my home around 1:39 am and on my return back, I kept calling her name and all of a sudden I heard a jingle, HER COLLAR Tag. I couldn't see her for another 50 seconds or so walking near our property line. She had spruce branches all over her tail, so I imagine she was hiding under a neighbor's spruce tree. I can't tell you what a relief to have her home!!! ❤️😁 She wouldn't leave my side all day today. ❤️
