Great news. Some wonderful people have been following up with this situation over the past two weeks and we now have this girl at a home where she can be taken care of while we continue to try to find her owner. Should be going to the vet today to get up-to-date vaccination Checked for microchip and to determine if she’s been spayed

This is a map of where this dog has been spotted over the past couple of days even as long as a month, according to some of them It’s an industrial area and it’s very close to several major highways and interstates I’ve reached out to my contact at Guilford County Animal Services, Jennifer Welch and waiting to hear back from her to see if they’ve got any plans to go out there and try to get this girl to safety I’m two hours away and I run the Great Pyrenees Rescue of Western, North Carolina But she needs to be processed through Animal Control

LIST on pawboost 🐾Contact shelter with description and location: may be first place family is looking. 🐾Posting "found dog" on a simple cardboard, along with your phone number, posted close can be extremely helpful. Have any caller identify dog FIRST (specific markings, photos, vet records) Though most people are good, some will claim free pets for dog fighting bait 🤬or other unkind reasons. 🥹💖THANK YOU for caring enough to Act and help make our community a safe and caring place for everyone, especially these vulnerable animals, who rely on humans for their care 💗
