We are missing our dear Flan he got loose and we ate desperately trying to find him he has a shaved patch on his right front leg he's about 1 year old

Put out a piece of your unwashed clothing, Stinky food. Shake treats. They usually stay within a few homes & hide - under decks, in sheds, behind bushes. Search at night with a flashlight when they are most active . Make posters with pet picture and contact info — put in baggie with sealed part at bottom to keep out rain. Put out a humane trap. —But do not put any fish based food in a humane trap. Rotisserie chicken is good. (The fish base will draw skunks too.) Agway and Tractor Supply sell have-a-heart live traps. Just put food right behind the trigger step. Some folks will let you borrow their humane trap. Hope you find your kitty soon.
