Set a live trap and monitor hourly. Cover 3 sides and put wet food in the back.

Put food water outside but bring the food inside at night otherwise it attracts wildlife.

Cats tend to return to the point of exit in the overnight hours within the first 24-72 hours. Be looking for him at these times. If possible leave the point of exit cracked open so he can re-enter if he returns.
