Denise Argent I was the founder of a Humane Association registered with the Secretary of State Articles of Incorporation, 501(c)(3), filed in 2001. I know what Rescues are supposed to do. Not all of them do it.

Margaret Morris-Calderon I said if you can't hold. Contact a rescue. A rescue looks also for owner and vet's it. Vaccines microchip and spay and neuter if needed just like a shelter would. Then if no owner they screen and home check for the perfect forever home if no owner comes forward.
