Elizabeth Strehl Thank you for welcoming two special needs kitties into your home, and of course for saving this beautiful girl too. She looks so grateful to be safe, it breaks my heart. She definitely had/has an owner, there's no doubt. Whatever you do, DON'T take her to The Animal Foundation though. They'll just release her back in the general area where you picked her up. Even friendly, adoptable young cats are being released now due to overcrowding. If no one claims her, start directly contacting rescues. She's obviously adoptable, so she'll be fine. You do what's best for your family, as well as this baby. 😉🖤🐾

Aelita T Lindemann We totally would and are still toying with the idea, but it is complicated. We just adopted a kitten 3 weeks ago. He was adopted out at 4-weeks of age because he had a broken leg and a bad tail pull injury. (His tail has since fallen off in our vet's hands and his nubbin is still healing.) We have another cat, an adult male, who is FIV+, toothless, and without an ear. The two still are separated 99% of the time. To add another cat who would need a slow and proper introduction (and quarantine)... We don't have another spare room for that.
