Shared. Note that two days is a long time to a cat so you have no time to waste. , if you have not already done all these things, do them now, if you have do them again and go further in your search. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Note that intact males can travel long distances in search of females in heat and have trouble finding their way back home. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Advise local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. In case he's hiding nearby leave his used littler and some food and water in hidden places near that door NOW and check this evening. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make any loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.
