Kathleen Ann Lutsch unfortunately she is not chipped. But I'm posting everywhere I can to help reunite her w/ her human, and happy to help care for her until then 🤍

Hi all! I found this sweet dog while driving along Buena Vista Ave & San Luis Rd in Walnut Creek. I asked around the neighborhood, but unfortunately, no one recognized her. I also took her to the vet, and she does not have a microchip. Taking it here to see if anyone knows if she looks familiar? The vet said they aren’t able to do a wellness check and suggested I file a found animal report with the county (which I did) and wait 30 days to see if she is claimed before they can evaluate her. She looks very skinny, though, so I’m concerned about her health and want to make sure she gets the care she needs. Does anyone have any advice or know of a local rescue/shelter that may be able to help? Thank you! 🐾

Sherry Arbelaez, amen to that, bless her sweet heart! 🙏💖 It is such a touching and beautiful reminder of how precious these little moments are. Seeing such genuine kindness and empathy makes me think about our world today. In a society that is always moving so fast and can often feel disconnected, what do you think is the single most important thing we can do as individuals to keep spreading that kind of heartfelt compassion and love to others every single day? ✨

Kathleen Ann Lutsch has very helpful information, and checking for a microchip is a wonderful idea to help reunite a lost pet! 🐾It is incredibly heartwarming to see a community come together so quickly to look out for missing animals. Seeing people share tips like this makes me wonder about our connection to pets: why do you think the bond between humans and dogs is so profoundly deep, and how does that shared love bring a whole community closer together in times of need? ❤️✨

Sarah Krumland I've owner Yorkies for literally 40yrs and this sweetie is definitely a senior. They often loose a lot of weight as they age, and become picky eaters. Probably does not live far, you may want to put up a few fliers with your phone number. Thanks for keeping him/her safe until you find their home 🐾🐾.
