Put smelly wet food outside, hav a hart traps work, check them often. At night shine a flashlight you may catch reflection of his eyes. Check shed, garages, under cars, anyplace he could hide or be stuck. Put up flyers, especially at vet offices. Talk to neighbors, ask if they have security cameras that may catch him walking by. They tend to move early morning and evenings. Put out used litter and fav humans worn clothes, familiar smells help bring them in. If possible, leave a patio or garage door open so he can get in. Contact rescues & county shelters, take a pic. Physically check county shelter often, they are busy. She will be very scared & may go into survival mode, she may not respond to you. Some wait until they're starving to come out for food. Keep food/trap out & check often. If you have another cat, try putting them outside in a SECURE carrier. Their meows may call the lost one in. Pray. Don't give up!

Do you have loose dogs in your neighborhood? Coyotes, gators, foxes, barn owls or other birds of prey (yes, all live in cities) Are there sick neighbors that dont like cats, bait dogs, feed lrg snakes or supply those that do? Look along the streets, under bushes and brush in case cat was hit by a car.

I hope you find your baby and when you do. Please keep him in doors. He might like it outside but the outside doesn't like him. It's too dangerous with coyotes and the people that put poison out for animals and the people that hate cats. Please keep him indoors for his safety.

🐾💕 Trey Larson of Florida Pet Recovery is an AMAZING, LICENSED drone operator who is so helpful at finding lost pets. Check his social media! If my pet were missing I’d contact him immediately. If you have a last known location and/or a sighting that’s extremely helpful. But the longer you wait the more difficult it becomes. Prayers for a safe return of your pet! Please use this link to request an appointment, understanding that Trey finds lost pets all night and sleeps part of the day so please be patient for him to get back to you: https://www.floridapetrecovery.com/contact-us?fbclid=IwVERDUASz2-RleHRuA2FlbQIxMABzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEey2AbiLsFHGBypwUl8ulJHHzawwXPcZZ_tnFFXgLAfQqanWeLU7PS7LxWQH0_aem_aI7yy4MVY2YciheZSj6RvQ Or call (813) 434-6584 and leave a voice mail.

There's a lot of Pasco and New Port Richey lost and found pages. Please put this on all of them If you have lost a cat read my first long paragraph. If you found one, Please read the last paragraph The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. Immediately anything with the cat's scent on it and anything that stinks of you like your smelly socks something that you sweated in overnight and your stinky sneakers even your dirty clothes and your underwear! Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week sleeping in the bushes and coming out at dusk Dawn and late at night. These are good times to take walks shaking the treat bag and calling for them. Cats can smell up to a whole mile away. So do that immediately and also put this on nextdoor. com and the other lost and found pet sites. Go on those sites looking at pics of found cats too. There might be a match. They tend to come home late at night or early in the morning so if you can keep a window cracked or a door cracked so at least you hear them. Good luck IF YOU HAVE FOUND A CAT: Please post this on all the lost and found pet pages in your county as well as all the neighborhood pages. Look on those pages just look at the photos try to make a match to someone that lost this cat. Any vet will check for a chip for free. In the meantime please give food and water to the kitty and shelter if you can.
