Message from Owner

I miss my cat so much she’s always attached to my hip and always talking she loves to play and is a little bit chunky and skittish to loud noises and storms she loves her catnip and her tube treats she’s so so silky smooth and has the cutest face ever it’s really not like her to go outside and if she does she’s always close so I’m so scared she’s hurt or worse but am trying to stay positive I have been searching for her every day since she went missing and cannot sleep thinking she won’t be home I’ve done so much research ab how to get her home and I just don’t know what else to do nobody has contacted us about her and I’m not sure if anyone has even looked which s today I’m making flyers and putting them on every neighborhood door I just want my cat back she’s apart of our family I miss playing with her and all the funny things she’d do she purrs so so much and without her here it’s been so gloomy and sad I just want to find her please please if you see her please let me know.

Leave your garage door up just enough that your cat can safely get back inside

Get bright colored posters for making signs from Dollar stores or Walmart. Get this up asap at intersections and put one in your yard. These are the number #1 tool for reuniting pets as not everyone is on social media or know about these sites. Also quickly print up fliers and pass out to area neighbors & give one to your mail carrier & nearby vets. ✅ pet signs Suggestions on signs. “We cannot emphasize this enough - SIGNS are one of the best ways to locate a Lost Pet or Find An Owner.” https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/neon-posters/

Go outside every evening and early morning shaking cat treats, clanging food bowls calling for your kitty. At night use a flashlight( this will reflect their eyes if hiding) to check shrubbery, hedges, lower tree limbs, and around anything your cat could hide under. Be sure to have your neighbors check their garages, sheds, under car hoods, etc.

Please also have your neighbors check their outside security cameras to see what area your pet may be seen in.

Escaped cats often hide close to home but may be too scared to come when called. Be sure to check all possible hiding spots around the outside of your home. If you go out after dark, you can use a flashlight to check for kitty eyeshine. Also, post on Nextdoor. Good luck! 🍀
