4 months ago today my two cats Delphine and Little Guy my black bobtail kitten were removed from my home when I wasn’t home to stop it . A local rescue had Delphine and refused to return her thanks to the very cold hearted director , even though the volunteer knew it was the right thing . She has been adopted out to a stranger im told . Don’t know what happened to the kitten . A very sad time . Hurt never goes away . They are family. I always think of your situation as it was so close time wise to mine . I keep hoping for good news from your end to give me some hope . Sorry to sound so melodramatic

Kayleigh Hurst I know , people think that animal lovers are ridiculous for being so obsessed, but these creatures are truly family. Unlike humans they don’t turn on you . Don’t care what you look like or how much money you have either. My situation is heartbreaking, but at least I know what happened to Delphine and the kitten . They were ripped away and I couldn’t legally get them back . The right thing to do was apparently irrelevant. With you it’s the not knowing. Many parents of missing children go through this . Kids and teenagers disappear on trips , spring break etc . Remember the Natalee Holloway case from 20 years ago ? All over the news . They assumed she was murdered on spring break while In Aruba with her class . A Dutch teen was probably the culprit, but they never found her . Imagine her parents and never having closure. To me an animal disappears. It’s very similar. No closure . It’s the not knowing that’s the worse part
