Dee B Kramer Hi, unfortunately we’ve moved (we had the moved planned before she somehow slipped out), we still have people keeping an eye out for her just incase, but so far nothing. Before we left though, we put flyers out everywhere, looked for her all around the neighborhood (our street and multiple streets around), left clothes outside, sat in the yard and called or just shook treats, and even had a drone pilot come out to look for her.

Caleb Hurst I ride by your old residence a good bit , hoping I see her . So far nothing. It appears to be rented to others now . Didn’t know if you could contact the realtors and have them continue to keep an eye out . I’m thinking she may have been picked up by someone if she’s friendly. Most cats run from strangers though

Sue Ann Blackmon this is so sad and depressing. I really feel for these people. Non animal lovers just don’t get it . Imagine over 3 months of this uncertainty. My situation as sad as it is , at least I know what happened and where mine probably are . This is way worse than. A person I know also recently had a cat disappear. Snuck out the door and disappeared

Your post keeps popping up , so I assume you’re still hoping she is eventually found. These things stay with you . I know . Ive been very depressed since the day it happened. Still have several other cats , dogs too , but losing any of them hurts . A 12 year old German Shepherd last November and not over that either. For me personally, I just have to it up and deal with the sadness on a daily basis. It doesn’t seem to be getting any easier. In your situation it must be even harder. At least I know what happened. Not knowing is much worse, because there is no closure

Kayleigh Hurst I hope you don't wait this long, but I must share with you that because of an irresponsible handy-man, I lost my cat for EIGHT MONTHS! She was returned to me, because she was microchipped, and I never cried such happy tears, before or since. I did answer people when they asked during that 8 months, I'm never giving up hope. I hope she finds her way back to you, sooner than later. Never give up hope!

This is probably the saddest situation of any of the lost cat / animal posts I’ve read about. I started following these stories after my own cat Delphine was taken to a local rescue and the director / coordinator refused to give her back purely for reasons of technicality. No paperwork or microchip. 20 pics weren’t enough apparently. I heard she was recently adopted out to a total stranger. Some people are so cold and heartless. Heaven knows what’s happened to these peoples cat It’s way more depressing than my situation because they don’t know what happened to her , no closure. Guess it’s like when a child goes missing. Try not knowing is the worst part. Wish these people the best . It must be devastating. I’ll keep hoping and praying, although quite frankly I’m not very religious. The world and humanity have made me that way.

Kayleigh Hurst I’m also still hoping for a miracle. Delphine has apparently been adopted out to a stranger. She has some indoor habits that have me worried that whoever has her will lose patience and put her outside, where cars and other dangers await . Either that or be returned to that rescue where she’ll bounce from home to home and eventually be put down . She splashes water on the floor and likes to sleep sometimes in the kitchen sink. I usually put a towel there . I overlooked those quirks , but most people won’t . Equally miss my little black bobtail kitten I found in the street just after a car almost hit him . Apparently he was microchipped and back with the owner who kept letting him escape according to the neighbor who grabbed him and asked me to take him before he was ed . Been focusing on Delphine mainly because I have more of an idea where she is . And her quirks . This all happened on Monday March 2nd . I run certain errands on Mondays , so obviously I wasn’t home to stop it . Mondays and Tuesdays are days that I do those errands and it used to be a relaxing experience, driving around . Since this happened, the joy has left and it’s no longer relaxing at all . I keep thinking if only I had been home that morning. Doing those Monday errands now is a constant reminder that I wasn’t there that day to stop them from being taken . Feel very guilty and depressed most of the time now . The other cats and animals miss them too . These animals have feelings and emotions. They know something is different. I have a senior old cat who stays in my bedroom. He really misses the kitten. He livened things up Tye old cat looked at him like an adopted son If that makes sense. It doesn’t get easier at least for me . These animals are family. We have several, many I found abandoned. They are all special. Dogs too . Keep the faith and stay in touch, I’ll keep hoping for the best for you and your husband
