Post on NextDoor and neighbors.ring, hang bilingual flyers, and put out articles of unwashed clothing and the pet’s bed. Ask neighbors to check their Ring cameras, garages, and sheds. Check shelters in person. If not already done, have your pet microchipped as soon as you’re reunited. If already chipped, call the microchip company to report pet lost and make sure your contact information is correct. Report lost on 24petconnect. If someone posts “We found” and asks for your phone number, don’t respond; it’s a scam. Same if they want to send you a code. Beware of sites people recommend that find lost pets; many are scammers

Recommend posting large bright push in the ground SIGNS (not flyers) all along the street the dog went missing from and adjacent streets and outward for a 1-to-2-mile radius from the point the dog went missing; dogs can travel when lost. Large signs have more visibility than small flyers. Place signs at entrances to subdivisions and intersections and stop signs, face them so they can be read when cars are passing, stopped. Contact all vets/ER vets in your area, Report the dog missing to the microchip company and local shelters. Check the shelter in person daily. 🚩🚩DO NOT pre-pay for any services ahead of time, a LEGIT thermal drone operator will collect payment IN PERSON OR AFTER the service and will ALWAYS meet with you in person when the drone goes up. There are legit, verified FAA/107 thermal drone pilots that can aid finding pets in the state of Florida. Legit FAA/107a thermal drone pilots can be verified on the FAA site. Do not pre-pay for information or medical treatment if contacted by someone saying your pet was injured and required medical attention, and you owe or need to pay. Hang up and google the facility they claim to be with and call the number on the website to confirm the pet is there.
