Live traps work best for getting the cat back. My friends cat went missing for 23 days, they installed a camera and it spotted the cat coming around late at night looking for food. When cats are afraid they will not come out of hiding places for anyone, you literally have to find them and pull them out of hiding places. Live traps work best!

Post signs as people see a cat and rarely think they are lost. Also, many people are not on social media! Post on local Next Door site and Lost Cats MN. If there are any local city or county lost pet sites post there as well. Go out at night with a flashlight calling by name. Cats usually do more go far.. Put litter box outside. Ask neighbors to look in sheds, window wells and under porches. Check with local shelter and Humane Society as well.
