Found/Stray Cat in Oak Lawn, IL 60453

The cat looked similar to the picture I posted, it wasn't the cat I came across, the website MADE me post a picture to report it so I tried to find a similar cat to the one I found. I did not want to take and post a picture of a deceased cat anyways. I did not take a picture bc it was deceased at least for a day I would guess, rig a mortis was starting to set in. I don't know if a coyote got to it or a hit and run but the cat wasn't in shambles it was all in one piece intact, a little blood from nose no major damage wise from what I could see. It was a large long hair black cat. It was around 8pm the sun was setting and it was getting dark after I left the store I seen it driving out of the parking lot. I seen people walk by and just ignore it basically laying there in the grass near the street curb. I did not want to throw it in a dumpster so I buried the cat in a bag and gave it a funeral etc bc it had a decaying smell and I wasn't sure how to go about the situation since shelters were closed. I reported it to animal welfare and police afterwards, and they advised me to call animal control but they were closed too. If anyone is missing a long haired large black cat. Text me, or email me .
