Message from Owner

Astro Star Novalite is his full name! He’s a shy but very friendly cat who doesn’t hiss at all. He’s declawed when we got him and only had him for a week the week before he went missing. We recently got him and tried everything to get him back home people keep saying they see him but he’s shy! He does wag his tail like a dog he’s very sociable. If found contact

Does he have a fluffy tail? My mom has a cat on her porch that looks similar, but has an ear tip and a fluffy tail. She's in Laflin though, not sure if he'd walk that far.

Shaliyah Brown he may need more to remind him of home. Try looking by foot after school. Cats are pretty smart and sometimes come back on their terms which means checking for him in a wash basket of your used laundry. Put food in it- it’s pretty hot today- look in cool places

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Try lostmykitty.com they have a service that sends out a lost pet alert to the phones in your area with a description and your phone number asking people to check their bats, garages and sheds. There is a fee, but that’s how I found my cat. If you can print out wires and give them to the mail carriers and your neighbors and put them on their porches as well as on telephone poles. Also give them to the animal shelters and the veterinarians offices. If there are businesses nearby, ask if you can put a flyer in their window. 💔🙏
